The Willits Center for the Arts presents Master Potter, Gregg Lindsley who will show his 35 years off skill in forms ranging from elegantly shaped pots to functional mugs of different sizes. He has taught at Mendocino College in the past and now has 20 private students he works with.
Lindsley tells us, “Being a studio potter has been a satisfying and rewarding way of making a living along with being non-harmful to others as it brings beauty into the world. A nice adjunct to a quiet, spiritual life.”
Spencer Brewer and Esther Seigel continue to amaze and entertain their audience with their whimsical assemblages. Both artists present three-dimensional works, some with environmental statements and other works of just pure fantasy. If you haven’t been in to see this show, there is still time.
The show opens Friday, February 4th and will run through Sunday, February 27th.
The Gallery is open 11 am. – 5 pm Fridays through Sundays.
